Colleen did the makeup for my wedding and it was perfect. She took the time during the planning process to really practice with me and really help me to decide what would look best. She was very patient with me, even when I changed my makeup palate and asked for another run through! THe day of the wedding she came to my venue which was really convenient. She made the process fun for me and the other girls. She stayed until the very last minute as I was walking down the aisle just in case I needed a last minute touch up. Colleen Novosel went above and beyond when she created my makeup for my son?s wedding in July. She did an amazing job. Not to take anything away from my beautiful new daughter-in-law but I looked great! Colleen selected my makeup color palette when she came by for a practice session a few weeks before the wedding. She had many challenges with my older skin with odd red patches called rosacea, the makeup-melting humid July heat and the make-up had to look subtle enough for a mother-of-the-groom. I needed make-up that could take me through the daytime wedding to dancing the night away. Colleen hit the mark with every test so I felt confident after our initial meeting. On the day of the wedding, Colleen interrupted her family vacation time to come to my home and put me at ease with her talent, experience and ingenuity. Colleen did a fantastic job on my make up for my wedding. It came out just PERFECT. I loved how she was able to find just the right tones for my skin. nothing too light or too dramatic. I also used the airbrush for foundation. It held up great all day (even through the hugs, outdoor photography and sweat). Luckily ~6 months before I got married I ran into Colleen (we went to school together) and she told me about her business, and specifically air brush make-up. I knew before I got married I would be a hot mess that day. Crying, sweating, etc. I really liked the idea of having air brush make-up I wouldn't have to worry about running. Colleen has done my makeup for many years for many different events and I have always been thrilled with the different makeup styles. The most important event that I had Colleen do my makeup for was a wedding in which you had to dress to impress. She took the time to look at my dress and ask about how I was doing my hair. She then did my makeup so as to complement the dress that I was wearing. Not only was I glowing all night, but I got complements throughout the entire evening and even my mother-in-law commented on how fresh and beautiful I looked that night! I have gone to the make up counters at the mall and they do not stand a chance against Colleen. Colleen understands what color combinations best complement each person and is able to achieve any look. Along with doing my make up Colleen has also given me a few tips.
